T20 Round-Up – South Oxfordshire Champions!
Congratulations to Harpsden Cricket Club on winning the South Oxfordshire T20 League at the first attempt!
In a thrilling final encounter at Harpsden, the hosts chased down Woodcote’s competitive total of 158-4 with just 1.4 overs to spare, sealing a 7-wicket victory in front of a lively home crowd. The match was far tighter than the margin suggests, with momentum swinging throughout before a composed run chase saw Harpsden home in the 18th over.
Batting highlights included a classy 51 from Blake Barrett, a composed 44 from Angus Cripps, and a powerful unbeaten 44 from Kirk Graham, who steered Harpsden over the line with calm authority. Earlier, Woodcote’s Paul Knox impressed with 56, setting up a strong foundation for his side.
Special mention to the Harpsden bowlers for keeping their nerve, and to the crowd for creating such an energetic atmosphere.
With Clifton Hampden conceding their final fixture, Harpsden end the campaign undefeated and worthy T20 League Champions.

This weekend marked a powerful and emotional start to the 2025 cricket season, as both the Harpsden 1st and 2nd XIs took to the field with purpose and pride, playing in honour of Ross Ashcroft. The boys turned out exceptional performances, with both teams not only securing dominant victories but also delivering cricket that Ross would have been proud of.

At the end of the 2023 season, Harpsden Cricket Club underwent an exciting clubhouse renovation, bringing a fresh and modern feel to our home.
Chairman Hits the Bullseye as Harpsden’s First Darts Night 2025.
Harpsden Cricket Club hosted its first-ever darts tournament, and it proved to be a fantastic evening both socially and financially. With a great turnout and plenty of friendly competition, the event raised money for the club. A huge thank you goes out to everyone who came along, supported, and got involved. In a fitting twist, the winner on the night was none other than our Chairman, Ben Hancock — saving the club a tidy £50 in prize money!
