T20 Round-Up – South Oxfordshire Champions!

Congratulations to Harpsden Cricket Club on winning the South Oxfordshire T20 League at the first attempt!

In a thrilling final encounter at Harpsden, the hosts chased down Woodcote’s competitive total of 158-4 with just 1.4 overs to spare, sealing a 7-wicket victory in front of a lively home crowd. The match was far tighter than the margin suggests, with momentum swinging throughout before a composed run chase saw Harpsden home in the 18th over.

Batting highlights included a classy 51 from Blake Barrett, a composed 44 from Angus Cripps, and a powerful unbeaten 44 from Kirk Graham, who steered Harpsden over the line with calm authority. Earlier, Woodcote’s Paul Knox impressed with 56, setting up a strong foundation for his side.

Special mention to the Harpsden bowlers for keeping their nerve, and to the crowd for creating such an energetic atmosphere.

With Clifton Hampden conceding their final fixture, Harpsden end the campaign undefeated and worthy T20 League Champions.
